I arrived in Hong Kong on June 28th. My flight landed around 8:00pm, about a half hour late. My cousin Wenting and Auntie Mansze picked me up and we drove to meet my Uncle John and his family at a restaurant for dinner. Yum yum Cantonese dinner, with family, around a round table with a lazy susan!

The next morning I woke up to this:

My family's apartment is in Kowloon Tong (no not the same Tong as meee), which is on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong (outlined in a purple square):

The view overlooks a baseball diamond and basketball courts and in the distance, on a clear day, I can see far far far into the Hong Kong harbour. I often go out on weekends with the family: yum cha, sightsee, high tea, sightsee, dinnertime...yep definitely in Hong Kong.
