After visiting the silk museum, Thomas, Dylan & I jumped out of the taxi when we spotted the Leifeng Pagoda. We wanted to walk up to the Pagoda, but it is a bit of a tourist trap and payment is necessary to see it. Probably not that expensive, but we ended up just walking around the trails near Xihu. We heard a loud squawking and followed the sound. The source of sound:
lovely masculine peacock. A group of people gathered near the fence to see his show of feathers, twirling and calling out. I spotted about 5 male and 3 female peacocks in the cage all together, this one some how was out and was casually walking around the grass, looking for a mate. Maybe he confused the palm leaves for a ladyfriend.
